Come and join the Cranfield community. Our people are our most valuable resource and everyone has a role to play in shaping the future of our University, developing our learners and transforming the businesses we work with.

ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ and King’s College London have announced the news that the two universities have signed an agreement as the first step towards a merger, with the aim of bringing the two institutions together from August 2027.

There are further legal and regulatory steps before a formal merger would occur. Until that point both Cranfield remains as an independent university. On completion of the proposed merger, Cranfield would become a part of King’s College London and Cranfield’s employees would transfer to become King’s employees in accordance with TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006. All employees of ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ would automatically transfer to King’s on their existing terms, maintaining continuity of service.

Our values

Our shared, stated values help to define who we are and underpin everything we do.

Each of our four values are supported by a high-level statement and framework to guide the way we behave and shape our decisions.

I came to Cranfield from Italy to do my PhD, and enjoyed it so much that I haven’t left. I joined as a lecturer, then became a senior lecturer and attracted funding to build a research team and fund PhD students. Working part-time means I can still enjoy my job and find an equilibrium between being a mum and still having my career.
