Background
Qihang Xu graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT, China) majoring in chemical engineering. Then he got my master's degree in water and wastewater engineering at ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ with a project of biosensors for rapid detection of illicit drugs in wastewater. Currently, Qihang is a PhD student in water supervised by Dr. Zhugen Yang and Dr. Pablo Campo Moreno.
Current activities
Qihang's PhD project is to develop a sensing system for microplastics detection in water. Also, he is interested in interaction between microorganisms (e.g., algae and pathogens) and microplastics in water.
