Background
Ying was awarded her PhD in Environmental Engineering at The University of Wollongong in 2023. Also, she completed a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering in 2019 (Institute of Soil Science, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering in 2016 (North University of China). Currently, she was a research fellow in wastewater surveillance at Cranfield Water Science Institute, and now a research fellow in biodetection technology at Environment Center in ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥. Her current research interest is on characterising airborne VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and developing approaches for bioaerosol detection across environmental settings.
