This symposium brings together early-career researchers from across the university to showcase their work, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthen our research community. We welcome contributions from all disciplines and research areas, covering themes such as aerospace, aviation, AI, robotics, energy, defence, sustainability, manufacturing and business.

Call for abstracts

Length: Up to 200 words.
Include: Presentation title, author name(s), theme, and centre.
Presentation Formats: Main Presentation (Standard), Poster Presentation, or Speedy Presentation (3-minute lightning talk).

Submission Deadline: 20 Feb 2026 (extended).
Notification of Results: 27 Feb 2026.

Transport and accommodation guidance

Arrival: Visitors must register at the Main Reception before heading to the Vincent Building (Building 52a).

Parking: Please refer to the campus map; the Vincent Building is located at grid reference D4.

Shrivenham Attendees: Transport and accommodation will be provided for attendees based at the Shrivenham campus.

Accommodation: Mitchell Hall. Check-in is from 14:00 on Wednesday; Check-out is by 10:00 on Thursday.

Luggage: Luggage cannot be stored securely in the Vincent Building; please use the storage room at Mitchell Hall.
